The team's role is to prevent illicit activity such as financing of terrorism, money laundering and other nefarious activities from taking place over Meta's fintech platforms.You would be collaborating with senior engineers and multiple teams in building an innovative distributed and zero fault tolerant financial integrity platform dedicated to support the company's products and services - Ads, Reels, Oculus, WhatsApp, and others.The team is composed of software engineers, data scientists, data engineers and compliance officers focused on building state of the art systems to lead industry standards in the FinTech space.

Software Engineer in Financial Integrity - Identity Screening Responsibilities:
- Collaborate on complex technical or product efforts with multiple engineers
- Work closely with multiple teams inside the org and across Meta, collaborate closely with the PM and product teams to define and build the next generation of enforcement products leveraging internal frameworks.
- Code using primarily Hack, Python, Rust
- Conduct design and code reviews
- Analyze and improve efficiency, scalability, and stability of various system resources
- Establish self as an owner of a particular component, feature, or system with expert end-to-end understanding
- Successfully completes projects at large scope while maintaining a consistent level of productivity
Minimum Qualifications:
- Solid demonstrated experience driving change within an organization and leading complex technical projects.
- Experience in building large-scale infrastructure applications.
- Solid 4 years of experience building maintainable and testable code bases, including API design and unit testing techniques
- Strong analytical skills and experience working with multiple data sources
- BSc in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent industry experience)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with the compliance domain
- Experience in the FinTech industry
- Knowledge from cyber security or risk management areas.
