Job Description

Main Responsibilities
1. System Architecture

• Serve as the highest leader of architecture of dual development processes: A/B Testing-driven squad initiatives, and top-down projects with enterprise and system-level roadmaps.
• Develop architectures that are inherently secure, robust, scalable, modular, API-centric, and meet performance, availability and development velocity targets for 1m-5m high-traffic users in 3-5 years.
• Continue developing and operating the Architecture-Driven Development Process (CEP-200). Create, review and approve frameworks, models, design blueprints, patterns, best practices.

Consistently communicating and applying outputs across solutions, modules and layers with LONDON (Layered, One Page, Name Matching, Dimensional, Openable, Nice Visual). Cooperate with business function leads to maintain ~200 Standardized Business Dimensions which accelerate process design and metadata management.

2. Strategy and Research

• Research the latest, technologies, evaluate, select and integrate vendors build new learning applications in various areas: AI Adaptive Learning, GPT, Brainwave Detection, Emotion Detection, Voice Recognition etc.
• Provide advice to the CEO and Board on product and technology strategy, and on tech alignment with quarterly and long-term OKRs.

3. Team Development

• Build and manage a team of System Architects. Cooperate with technical leads and product managers, functional managers.
• Mentor and help build world-class high-performing engineering teams.
• Represent Clevai in local and international conferences to promote brand and attract talent.

Job Requirements

Requirements

• Strong first-principle analytical thinking, ablility to generate original designs and acronyms rather than to blindly follow industry conventions
• Ability to quickly ZIZO (Zoom In Zoom Out) when facing complex problemsd, and balance long-term vs. short-tem objectives
• Trusted and respected as a thought leader who can influence and persuade business and tech leaders
• 10 years of relevant engineering and engineering management experience
• Experience at a US Tech company, a South East Asian unicorn, or a similar company is a plus
• Attendance of a world-class engineering university is a plus
